In order to improve the role of organization, management, provision of information and public services online, on January 13, 1977, the People's Committee of An Giang province signed the Decision No. 03/2017 / QD-UBND Regulation on management, operation, provision of information and maintenance of electronic information portal of state agencies in An Giang province.

In 2016, with the aim of speeding up administrative reform, improving the quality of public administrative services and banking services serving people and businesses.

On January 24, 2016, the People's Committee of Gia Lai Province issued a report No. 09 / BC-UBND on the implementation of Level 3, 4 online services in 2016 and registered the list of Public Services Online level 3, 4 in 2017.

On 05/01/2017, the People's Committee of Quang Nam province issued the document No. 56 / KH-UBND on application of information technology in the operation of state agencies of Quang Nam province in 2017.

E-commerce is one of the important infrastructure of the trade and information society; High-tech application, rapid development and a way to help Vietnamese enterprises in general and enterprises in the province promote the development of domestic market, participate in global supply chain; to enhance the competitiveness in international integration; contributing to boosting the country's industrialization and modernization and understanding the importance of e-commerce. On December 22, 2016, the People's Committee of Binh Thuan province issued Decision No. 3798 / QD-UBND on Promulgating the e-commerce development plan of Binh Thuan province in the 2016-2020 period.

On 19/01/2017, the Ministry of Information and Communications issued Decision No. 62 / QĐ-BTTTT on approving the method of assessing the level of information technology application of state agencies in 2016.
